Body
Major changes and prolonged uncertainty can take a physical toll. You may notice changes in your sleep, energy, appetite, tension or general sense of wellbeing.
Relationships
Changes in your life can change your relationships too. You may find yourself needing different kinds of support, experiencing conflict, feeling disconnected or adjusting to new roles and expectations.
Mind
Your mind may become occupied with questions about the past, present or future. You might find yourself overthinking, replaying decisions, worrying about what could happen or struggling to make choices.
Values
A major transition can make you reconsider what matters to you. Priorities that once made sense may no longer feel right, or you may find yourself asking what kind of life you actually want.
Emotions
Transitions can bring a mixture of emotions, sometimes all at once. You might experience sadness, anxiety, frustration, grief, relief, excitement, guilt or uncertainty.

Why Choose Telehealth Counselling for Life Challenges & Transitions?
Telehealth counselling allows you to receive professional support from wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that's at home, during a work break, or while travelling.
For many people, telehealth offers the same supportive therapeutic relationship as in-person counselling, with the added convenience of meeting online.
Benefits
✔ Accessible during busy periods: Attend counselling without adding travel time to an already demanding schedule.
✔ Support from a familiar space: You can talk from a private environment where you feel comfortable and settled.
✔ Flexible around changing circumstances: Useful when your routine, work situation, location or responsibilities are changing.
✔ No need to travel: Access your session from home or another suitable private location.
✔ Continuity during transitions: If you're moving, travelling or changing circumstances, telehealth can make it easier to maintain regular support.
Things to Consider
While telehealth works well for many people, it's important to consider that:
You'll need a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
Choose a private space where you can speak openly and won't be interrupted.
If you're going through a particularly busy period, giving yourself some time before and after your session can help you process the conversation rather than rushing immediately into another responsibility.
Technical issues can occasionally interrupt a session. If this happens, we'll reconnect as quickly as possible or make alternative arrangements.
Some people prefer face-to-face counselling, and that's completely okay. Telehealth is simply another way to access support.
